In this bold and vivid Abfillage piece, I weave together the complexities of our world and the simplicity of our shared humanity. Through the intricate interplay of abstract and figurative elements, I explore the idea that our individual minds are but a small part of a greater whole, and that the diversity of our races enriches our collective experience.
In my 7ft x 6ft Abfillage work, I use the global symbol of a world globe held by two women of different races to convey a message of unity and peace. The small heads of the women, an artistic trademark in all my works, represent the smallness of individual consciousness within the vastness of our world. The use of the globe is not only symbolic of our interconnectedness as a global community but also evokes the need for racial harmony and unity.
